Remember that time I got halfway to the point before noticing my "shortcut" was now a lake. Had to basically scramble up a sketchy, muddy slope in my crappy old sneakers while my friends laughed from the dry trail. I mean, I definitely check the tide tables now.

Honestly, that scramble Jason described sounds like a nightmare. Ruby's right, it's a scary spot. But it makes me wonder, how many people actually know how to read a tide table properly? I've seen the signs but the charts can be confusing if you're not used to them.
