Met a guy on the Timberline Trail who said the loop was 'too easy'
He was bragging about doing it in two days, but his pack was huge and he looked wrecked. We were at Cloud Cap and he was complaining about the river crossings being boring. Has anyone else run into people who just seem to hate the actual hiking part?

I just focus on my own hike when I meet people like that... it's not a competition. Letting their bad mood get to you ruins the whole point of being out there. I find a quiet spot and enjoy the view for a minute instead.
