Vent: my neighbor's fence build in Sacramento cost me a whole weekend and taught me one thing
Watched my neighbor Dave put up a 60 foot privacy fence last weekend in Sacramento and he didn't brace a single post before pouring concrete. By Sunday two of them were leaning into my yard and I spent 5 hours helping him dig them back out. Now I'm planning my own 80 foot fence and I want to know what depth you all go for in rocky clay soil. Do you set posts at 2 feet or push deeper for the corners?
