Betrayed by buffering, saved by a jigsaw puzzle
I had a long day and just wanted to watch a movie to unwind. My streaming app froze every few minutes, no matter what I did. I felt really angry and ready to give up on the whole night. Then, I spotted an old jigsaw puzzle on the shelf. My roommate and I started putting it together instead. We got lost in it and ended up chatting for hours. It turned a frustrating tech fail into a great time. What simple switch has saved your day when plans fell apart?

Wouldn't tackling the buffering problem head-on be more satisfying in the long run? From my help desk days, I know most freezes just need a router reboot or app reinstall. Letting the tech beat you means it'll probably happen again next time you try to relax.

Ugh, I feel this so hard. There's nothing worse than finally sitting down to watch something and your internet just gives up. I've spent way too long staring at a loading circle, unplugging the router, waiting for it to reboot... only for it to buffer again five minutes later. Sometimes you're just too tired to fight with it and you give up, even though you know it's not really fixed. It really does kill the whole relaxing vibe.
