Heads up if you're planning a hike at Eagle Creek this month

I went there yesterday to clear my head after a rough morning and the main trail is washed out about a mile in, a huge tree came down. Had to turn back, but ended up finding a perfect little spot by the river to sit instead, which totally saved the afternoon. Anyone know other solid trails in the Gorge that are fully open right now?

Oh man, that washout is a total bummer. I was at Eagle Creek two weeks ago and it was fine, so that must have just happened. I had the same thing happen on the Herman Creek trail last month, a landslide blocked the path. Ended up just chilling at the bridge and watching the water. For open trails right now, the Wahclella Falls loop is a solid bet, I was just there and it's clear the whole way.

Seriously, a washout's not the end of the world, you just find another spot.
