I used to just go home and stew after a bad day, but last Tuesday I forced myself to walk to the park. It actually worked.

Forcing yourself to go to the park" is the key part. It's like you have to trick your brain out of its bad mood sometimes. That small physical change of scenery can really reset your whole headspace.
