Yeah, 3 minutes of rechecking or 3 hours of explaining to your boss why you missed something. Totally worth the risk if you ask me. Worst case scenario it fails and you just say the laser was off.

Are you me? Because I do the exact same thing with my little Zojirushi (which is supposed to be the "good" one) and it's honestly embarrassing. Wait, was it the silicone pressing against your skin that did it? I feel like that's the real culprit here, not the lights themselves. The whole thing about these masks is the seal has to be tight for the light to work right, but that pressure traps everything against your pores. Did you try putting a thin cloth or gauze between the mask and your face as a barrier? Sometimes that helps keep the silicone off but still lets the light through. Just a thought since you already dropped two hundred on it.
