My boss said one sentence in the parking lot that made me stop dreading Mondays
I used to think the whole "leave work at work" thing was just something people say. Then two weeks ago my supervisor caught me in the parking lot at 5:40pm in Fort Wayne, still stewing over a messed up order. She didn't give me a pep talk. She just asked, "You gonna carry that home to your kids?" I said nothing and drove off kind of annoyed. But that night I actually left my phone in the kitchen and ate dinner with my family for the first time in a while. It wasn't a magic fix but the next Monday felt lighter and I've been doing it since. How do you all actually cut the cord at the end of a rough shift?
