inDoor lock contacts keep causing intermittent faults on older hydro elevators...
Oh man, that brings back a memory! Had a 1990 Otis unit a few years back where I spent two hours chasing a ghost fault (turns out the door interlock was fine, but the wiring in the junction box above the cab was rubbing on a sharp edge). Cleaned contacts and taped the wires, smooth sailing ever since. It's funny how often it's just a dirt or alignment thing versus a whole lock swap.

inSo I finally took my bike up the Sea to Sky highway last weekend
That feeling of relaxing into the bike instead of fighting it, its like a whole new world opens up. I had the same thing happen on a ride through the old logging roads up near Harrison, where I was so tense about the washboard gravel that I almost tipped over in a corner. Once I just let my knees grip the tank and let the bike do its thing, it stopped being scary and started being fun. It really is crazy how much of it is just getting out of your own head.

inMy sister told me my pie crust was 'tough as a tire' and it stung
Tough as a tire describes half my baking attempts honestly.

inFound a 50 cent box of pasta in a gas station in Nebraska
Buy what you can find cheap, stuff like that freezes fine for months.

inWarning: Don't let your grandma's recipe die with her
Honestly, "the exact fold count" is a game changer. I need to do that for my nana's pie crust.
