My mailbox looked like a crime scene until I tried the cheap fix
I drive out to my mailbox every day after work and for like 6 months it was just dangling off the post, covered in rust and dented from some kid hitting it with a bat. Finally grabbed a $12 mounting kit from the hardware store last Saturday and spent 20 minutes swapping it out. New one is plain black metal, nothing fancy, but it actually sits straight now and the lid closes without jamming. Anyone else put off a super simple repair way too long?
