A friend's heckle about the bad guy's plan made me see the whole movie differently
Last Friday we watched this low budget sci-fi flick where the villain spends 20 minutes explaining his evil scheme to a room full of people who just stand there. My buddy Dave shouted 'just shoot him!' and I laughed, but then I actually started paying attention to how every terrible movie does this. After that, I started keeping a running tally of stupid character decisions during our bad movie nights, like a drinking game without the booze. Now I can't watch any of these without spotting the exact moment the script gives up. Does anyone else have that one comment or joke that completely ruined a movie's dumb logic for them?
