My neighbor Mike said something about The Room that stuck with me

I was complaining about the terrible acting in The Room and Mike said yeah, but every line lands like a bomb because nobody delivers it right. He pointed out the plastic spoons are just the tip of the iceberg, the whole movie runs on accidental poetry. Now I'm wondering if the worst acting actually makes bad movies better or if we just pretend it does.

With a straight face" - yeah right, I call total BS on that. Mike couldn't keep a straight face if you paid him, he cracks up at his own jokes before he even finishes telling them. I remember last year at the holiday party he tried to tell us he ran a marathon and was laughing before he got to the part about tripping over a curb. No way he delivered anything serious without smirking.
