Pro tip: crowd noise tracks make bad movies way funnier
Last Friday I threw on a public domain turkey from 1964 and muted the whole thing, then played a 10 hour loop of faint applause and boos from a sound effects site. The timing was random but it landed perfectly on plot twists, I nearly choked on my soda when a dramatic reveal got a huge cheer. We sat through all 94 minutes and my buddy kept yelling 'encore' at the screen. Has anyone else tried swapping in weird audio tracks like restaurant chatter or stadium sounds?
