Finally got my sourdough starter to double in size after 3 weeks of feeding it every day
I was about to give up on this starter I named Doughbie after it sat flat for like 18 days straight in my tiny apartment kitchen in Portland. Then I realized my tap water had too much chlorine so I switched to bottled water and boom it doubled overnight. Anybody else have a random fix that saved their starter from the trash?

Agree with @sam_scott59 but switching to bottled water totally saved my starter too.
