Thought a silicone baking mat was just a gimmick, but I was dead wrong
Burned through three batches of cookies on parchment last week because they kept sliding around, finally caved and grabbed one for $12 at Target. Now my macarons actually come out with feet instead of flat discs, who else had that moment where they realized the hype was real?

The silicone mat is a total game changer.

and honestly the cleanup alone made it worth it for me, like i used to spend so much time scrbbing parchment residue off pans but now i just wipe the mat down and it's done. plus they don't warp or rip halfway through baking which always drove me crazy with parchment.
