I finally visited that fancy barbershop in Portland and still prefer my $25 shop
Went to Heritage Barbers on Burnside last Saturday because everyone online raves about it. Paid $65 for a fade and hot towel treatment. The cut was fine, honestly, but the guy rushed me in 25 minutes and barely talked. My usual spot charges 25 bucks, takes an hour, and the barber remembers my kid's name. Am I missing something about the expensive experience, or is it just paying for the vibe? Has anyone else gone back to their cheap shop after trying a high end place?
