My $230 clipper died mid fade on a walk in and I had to finish with a $40 backup

Saturday around 2pm a walk in kid sat down for a skin fade and my clipper just quit halfway up the side, no warning, no sound, dead in my hand. I grabbed the cheap backup I keep in the drawer, finished him up slower than I wanted, and he never noticed, but I did. Do you run two of the same clipper or just keep one good one and roll the dice?
