The hair splinter in my thumb took 3 days to find and it was under the nail the entire time
Last Tuesday I felt a little sting every time I gripped my scissors but could not see anything in my thumb, so I figured it was just dry skin from all the hand washing. I soaked it, taped it, and even had my wife look with a flashlight for 2 nights before she spotted a tiny dark line right at the edge of my nail bed. How do you all deal with hair splinters that sneak under the nail, do you dig them out yourself or just wait it out?
