Hot take: a guy at a garage sale in Bakersfield talked me out of buying his own $2 box of junk
He said half the stuff in there was broken and he didn't want it in his house anymore, so he'd rather just toss it. I walked away with an empty $1 bucket instead, and honestly that was the best money I spent all weekend. What's the weirdest thing a seller has talked you out of buying?
