My $9 garage sale scanner beats the $300 store model I used for 5 years
I used to run a small resale side gig and swore I needed the expensive handheld scanner for pricing books. Dropped $300 on one in 2021. Last month I found a beat up model at a garage sale in Fresno for $9. It does barcodes, skips the bloatware, and starts in 2 seconds instead of 30. The expensive one is now in a drawer. How many of you downgraded to something cheap and it worked better than the fancy version?
