Yeah it's like we traded real mentors for endless videos. You can't ask a YouTube tutorial why your bark isn't setting right, you just rewind and guess. Something gets lost when there's no one there to actually look at your meat and give a nod.

Feel that hard, man. Videos miss that personal touch where someone just gets what you're doing wrong. Totally agree about needing that real nod sometimes.

Tell me about it. I was trying to fix my bike derailleur last week and must have watched five different videos. Every one of them skipped the exact part where my chain kept jumping. I just needed someone to point at the stupid thing and say "that bolt right there, turn it." Ended up taking it to the shop anyway.
