That $450 pellet hopper lid I bought was a total waste
Bought a fancy stainless lid for my smoker last spring thinking it would seal better and hold temps steady. Paid 450 bucks for it and it rattles like crazy in the wind, plus the gasket already peeled off after 3 cooks. My old bent lid with the bungee cord held temp just as good, honestly. Anyone else ever shell out big cash for an upgrade that ended up being worse than the janky original?

My neighbor spent 600 on a fancy charcoal basket and now just uses the old one as a plant holder.
