Blew out a rear hub mid-ride on the LA river path
Rolling at like 20mph near the Glendale Narrows when the freehub just gave up, loud pop and then nothing but clicking. Walked 4 miles to a shop in my cleats, now I carry a spare axle and cone wrench in my jersey on every group ride. Anyone else had a hub die at the worst possible spot?
