Hitting 500 bottom bracket rebuilds, lost count after that
Tbh I hit 500 bottom bracket overhauls last Tuesday at the shop and it kind of surprised me. I keep a tally on a grease-stained index card taped to my toolbox, mostly to see how many seized cartridges I grind out. That number matters because it means I finally can tell by feel when a cup is gonna strip or an axle needs replacing before it even spins. Has anyone else kept a running count of a specific repair and watched their process change after a certain milestone?
