I finally stopped using threadlocker on every bolt after a stuck caliper mount cost me an hour
Last Tuesday I spent 50 minutes fighting a seized caliper bolt on a commuter bike because I'd hit it with blue threadlocker out of habit. My co-worker Marcus asked why I was locking a bolt that already has a split washer and a torque spec, and I didn't have a real answer. Now I only use it on racks, fender stays, and anything that rattles loose, which is maybe 5 bolts per tune instead of 20. Curious what parts you guys actually lock down and what you just torque and leave alone.
