Saw a shop in Austin fix a cracked carbon frame with a coffee cup patch

Guy at Mellow Johnny's took a busted fork and repaired it using epoxy and a cut-up Starbucks cup. Anyone tried this kind of field repair on a frame?

Wait, does this mean I can stop throwing away all those dented frames that ended up in my garage after a bad crash? I've got a stack of Starbucks cups I've been saving for no reason, so maybe it's destiny.

Used to think dented frames were just trash (ended up throwing a few in the dumpster myself years ago), but reading this definitely changed my mind.
