Spent $80 on a 'premium' bike chain tool that broke on the first use
I mean, I know you get what you pay for sometimes, but this thing was supposed to be heavy duty. Got it from a shop in Denver after my old Park Tool finally gave out after like 10 years. First chain I tried to break with it, the pin snapped clean in half. The tool, not the chain. Just a warning to anyone looking at those no-name brands on Amazon. Anyone else had a tool fail on them right out of the box?

Park Tool is the gold standard for a reason, don't buy knockoffs expecting the same quality.

gold standard for a reason" - but like, what's the actual difference you've noticed between Park and the knockoffs? I've been tempted by the cheaper stuff but never pulled the trigger.
