My bike ride to work has me arguing with myself about productivity
I've been biking to my office for three months now. On one hand, I arrive feeling awake and clear-headed. On the other, after a long ride, I sometimes struggle through afternoon tasks. A friend at work swears by it, but another says it hurts his output. Curious how other commuters handle this balance.

Ever try switching your ride to after work instead? I found that biking home drains my leftover energy, not the focus I need for my actual job... Morning walks get my head right without the same crash later. Maybe it's less about the exercise itself and more about when you do it.

Read a piece last week about how timing affects workout benefits. They said morning movement sets a positive tone without draining you later. Your mileage may vary, but it lined up with what you're saying.

Ah, the classic "is my healthy habit secretly ruining my work" debate. Maybe your brain is just mad you're making it share blood with your legs. Try telling your afternoon self that the morning version already spent all the willpower.
