Hit 1000 episodes of One Piece last night and it hit me how different watching shows is now

I started One Piece in 2019 on a crappy laptop in my dorm in Columbus, and last night I finally passed episode 1000 while folding laundry on my phone. Back then I had to wait a week for each new sub, and now I can just tap and keep going, which is cool but also makes it feel less special somehow. Does anyone else miss the days of weekly releases and talking about it at school the next day?
