My wife made me watch a show called 'The Bear' and I was hooked by the first 10 minutes.
I thought it was just a cooking show, but the stress and yelling in that kitchen felt just like my shop on a bad day. We ended up watching the whole first season in one weekend. What other shows have a vibe that just pulls you in right away?

That instant pull can be a total trap though. Some shows front-load all their best energy and then completely fall apart by the third episode. It sets you up for a real letdown when the magic just vanishes.

Total trap" feels a bit strong, it's just TV. The magic vanishing after a few episodes is more of a mild bummer than a real letdown.
