That $80 hammer I swore was overpriced changed my swing in 2 days

Picked up a Hofi hammer from a guy at a hammer-in near Richmond about 6 months back. I figured it was just hype and my old 2 pounder was fine. But the offset handle made it so my knuckles stopped hitting the anvil on every other strike. First time I used it on a set of tongs, I got cleaner sets in half the blows. Anyone else find a tool they fought buying that ended up being worth it?

Spent $110 on a Japanese pull saw and quit fighting my cuts the same week.

Hundred and ten bucks? That's wild. I get that nice tools are worth it, but man, that's a big number for a saw. I've been using a $30 one from the hardware store for years and it gets the job done fine. Maybe I'm missing out on something huge, but that price tag would make me nervous every time I used it. You must really love your cuts to drop that much cash.
