That Saturday my grail knife showed up AND my blazer got coffee on it
Last Saturday around 11am I got the package with the custom slipjoint I'd waited 14 months for, a Birdvis with mammoth scales. I was SO excited I grabbed my favorite 1970s corduroy blazer to show my buddy at the diner, and within 5 minutes a waitress tipped a full mug of coffee right down the front. The blade is PERFECT, walk and talk are like butter, but now my jacket smells like a diner floor and has a big brown stain. Has anyone else had a great knife day ruined by a clothing disaster? How do you get coffee out of old corduroy without wrecking the nap?
