Warning: pocket clip screw stripped at the worst possible moment

Was at a vintage jacket swap in Portland last month, holding a sweet 70s herringbone blazer when my custom knife dropped out of my pocket. The clip screw had loosened up over time and I ignored it, then it stripped clean when I tried to tighten it on the spot. Had to carry the knife loose in my jacket pocket the rest of the day, which felt sketchy and I almost lost it twice in the crowd. Got home and used a rubber band trick to get the busted screw out, then replaced it with a fresh one plus some thread locker. Took maybe 20 minutes total, but the damage to my trust in that clip is real. Has anyone else had a clip fail right when you needed both hands free?

Dude, you turned a 20 minute fix into a crisis about trust in a piece of metal. Are we really at the point where a pocket clip failing is a life-changing event?
