I mean, that "simple talk" thing sounds nice but it never works in my group.

What's the actual thing that stops the talk from working in your group? Like, is it one person who won't budge or does everyone just talk over each other?

Man, I feel that, what makes your group blow up over rules? Mine used to get stuck on tiny wording things until we agreed to just check the book first.
