Warning: My copy of Dune: Imperium's main board split right down the middle during setup last night

The seam between the two folded halves just gave out, so I had to carefully tape it from underneath before we could even start. Anyone have a good fix for a broken game board that doesn't look totally awful?

My buddy's copy of Terraforming Mars did the exact same thing. He used some clear packing tape on the back and it's held for years now, barely even notice it.

Oh man, that's the worst! My friend's copy of Scythe did that, the whole board just split along the fold while we were playing. He got really into fixing it, used some special bookbinding glue and pressed it under a stack of heavy cookbooks for a full day. It actually worked pretty well and you can hardly see the crack now, but it was a whole project.
