Found out my old torch tip was 40% off spec and I was shocked

Stumbled on a spec sheet from Harris while cleaning out my toolbox yesterday, checked my favorite rosebud tip against it, and turns out the flow numbers were way off, like 40% off, probably from years of me dressing it wrong. I've been running that thing on 2-inch plate for 5 years and never thought to verify the numbers. Anyone else ever check their old tips against factory specs or just trust them until they fail?
