Had to pick between manual and auto-pipe bevelers back in '09

I started out with a manual beveler, but after 3 months of cranking on 6-inch schedule 80 pipe in a refinery outside Houston, my shoulder was shot. Switched to an auto-beveler from ESAB and it cut my prep time in half on the next job. Still, I miss the feel of doing it by hand sometimes, even if my joints don't. Anyone else stuck with an old-school tool out of nostalgia?

You ever wake up with that same shoulder ache from years ago and just laugh about it? I remember running a manual beveler on some heavy wall pipe back in 2011, and by the third day my hand was so cramped I couldn't hold a coffee cup right. Now I look back and think, maybe the soreness was part of the learning curve, even if it hurt like hell.
