Sight glass on the #2 boiler cracked during warmup and dumped water everywhere
Happened Tuesday morning around 6am at our plant in Gary, the glass just gave out at about 180 degrees and I had maybe 30 seconds to kill the feed before it sprayed the whole gauge board. Spent the next two hours mopping and swapping in a spare, and now I'm paranoid about every sight glass on the floor. Anyone got a trick for checking these things under heat without getting soaked?
