Our club almost split over whether the dad in Room was a hero or a monster
I started passing out an index card at the start of every meeting for a quick anonymous vote on the book's big question, and it killed the two people who always talk over everyone. Now we get 11 quiet votes before the loud debate even starts, so has anyone else tried voting first to shut down the same 3 voices dominating?
