Just realized my foreman was right about buttering the head joints and I hate it
Three years ago he kept telling me to butter both sides of the block on the corners. I figured it was a waste of mud and time so I blew him off. Then last week a job in Cheyenne failed inspection because the corners were pulling apart. He didn't even say I told you so, just handed me a trowel and said butter it. Now I'm doing it everywhere and my walls look tighter. Does anyone else skip this or am I the only stubborn one?
