Saw the brickwork on that new brewery in Asheville and had to stop the truck

They did this wild running bond with these dark purple bricks from Glen-Gery, mixed with some standard reds. The contrast is sharp, but I'm curious about the mortar choice because it looks like a really light gray, almost white. Has anyone worked with that specific color combo before and know how it holds up to weather?

Used to hate light mortar but this changed my mind.

Nah, still hate it. The ammo feels so limited, and you're a sitting duck while you reload. One good flank and you're done, changed mind or not.
