My mom watched me brown ground beef and said "you're crowding the pan you idiot" now I do it in batches and actually get color on the meat.
Game changer for chili and tacos when you're trying to stretch a pound of 80/20 into three meals, has anyone else dealt with soggy meat their whole life before someone called them out on it?

Feel you man, I spent years eating sad gray ground beef until my buddy yelled at me over the stove. Now I actually get those crispy brown bits and it makes everything taste twice as good.

Isn't it funny how the smallest thing changes everything? I finally learned the "don't crowd the pan" rule and it was like a lightbulb went off. Now I actually take the time to let it sit and get that crust going before I start breaking it up. Makes me mad at all the years I wasted on that sad gray stuff.
