Just learned that flying out of a smaller airport can save 60% on parking
I was booking a trip to Chicago last week and almost picked O'Hare like always. Then I checked Midway's parking rates and saw it's $12 a day instead of $30. Plus the security line took me 8 minutes on a Friday morning. Has anyone else found big savings by switching airports?

Definitely worth checking both airports if you've got options. I've saved more than a hundred bucks just by driving an extra 20 minutes to the smaller one, and the whole experience felt way less stressful.

oh man, @evac72 you hit the nail on the head. last time I flew out of the big city airport I swear the parking lot alone cost me a small fortune and a panic attack. drove 25 minutes to the regional one and not only saved 80 bucks but also got through security in like 12 minutes. feels like a secret life hack honestly, even if nobody else gets why you'd drive past all that chaos.
