Turning old clothes into packing helpers cut my travel costs
I had some worn-out shirts and stitched them into simple packing cubes. This let me pack tighter and skip buying travel organizers, saving cash. Curious if others repurpose home stuff for trips.

My garage is full of old pillowcases I use for travel now. I stuff all my phone cables and chargers into one, then roll it up tight so nothing gets tangled. It beats buying those little tech pouches and the fabric keeps things from scratching. I save a few bucks each trip and it works just as well.

Actually used a clean, empty plastic food container for my toiletries last trip. The clear sides made it easy to see everything at security, and it's way sturdier than a zip-top bag. Didn't have to worry about anything leaking on my clothes either.

Lol my mom used to make me pack my shoes inside clean socks so they wouldn't dirty my clothes.
