Seriously? I get the idea, but in my experience it just makes for sad soup. Tried it with peppers and onions last winter, and everything came out with that weird freezer-burned texture. Some things just don't bounce back after being frozen raw. My celery turned to mush. It feels less like saving food and more like delaying the guilt trip until you actually cook it.
