That 15 minute chat about index cards changed my whole setup
I was sitting at a coffee shop in Portland last month doodling in my journal when this older guy next to me asked if I actually use all those little boxes I draw. He showed me his pocket notebook full of plain index cards held together with a binder clip, no fancy layout at all. He said, "Your system looks beautiful, but mine survives a rainstorm in my backpack." It got me thinking about how much time I spend making spreads look perfect versus actually tracking my habits. Has anyone else simplified their bujo after seeing someone else's bare bones approach?
