Bought a $200 label maker and it actually saved me 3 hours a week on site.
I finally caved after fighting with handwritten tags on coax drops for years. The first day using it I labeled 40 cables in under 10 minutes. Has anyone else found a tool that cut their time like that?

Man, isn't it wild how something that simple can make such a big difference? I finally got a label maker two months ago for my home office setup with all my networking gear, and I swear it's the best $150 I've ever spent. I used to spend forever squinting at tiny handwriting on patch cables or trying to peel off old tape that just left sticky goo everywhere. The first weekend I labeled all my ethernet runs and power cords in like 20 minutes, and now when something goes wonky I can see exactly which cable goes where without any guesswork. It's one of those things where you don't realize how much time you're losing until it's gone.

Honestly that’s genius, I bet it pays for itself in a month just from not having to redo labels later. Most people focus on the upfront cost but forget how much time they waste fixing messy handwriting or peeling off old stickers. Props to you for finally pulling the trigger.
