My boss in Charlotte made us start labeling every drop at the box, and callbacks dropped from 8 a month to 2
I used to just tag the cable at the wall plate like everyone else, but he wanted a sharpie label at both ends with the room and jack number. Took maybe 4 extra minutes a drop, and now nobody's guessing which line is which when a signal issue pops up six months later. Is the extra minute per drop worth it on your crews, or do you think good tone and probe work is enough?
