Shoutout to the rusted ground block that ate my Saturday in Tulsa
Was finishing up a triple play install out in Tulsa last weekend when I put my meter on the ground block and got nothing, just a dead short that had me chasing my tail for two hours. Turned out the block was so rusted inside that the fitting was barely making contact, so I swapped it and the whole run cleared right up, signal jumped from -12 to +2 on the downstream. How often do you guys actually replace the block on an old drop, or do you just reuse it and hope it holds?
