Warning: three lens boards in a row nearly ended me Tuesday
Tuesday was supposed to be simple, right? Just a few shutter swaps and a CLA. Then I got three different lenses in with the SAME stuck retaining ring issue. Each one fought me for a solid 40 minutes. The last one, a beat up 135mm from a customer in Portland, actually laughed at me when I finally got it. I could hear the ring pop and it sounded like a tiny cork. I almost threw the whole bench out the window. Anyone else have a run where one tiny part ruins your entire day?
